During your routine dental check-up, your dentist will check for the following:

• White and red patches in your mouth.
• Lumps in your mouth, jaw, or throat.
• Lesions.
• Ulcers.
• An uneven bite.

Should your dentist notice any of the above, they will ask when you first noticed these abnormalities. You will also be asked if any changes to your voice have occurred.
